Super Bowl XLVI Champion New York Giants
If there were still doubters of Eli Manning before kickoff yesterday, it's safe to say he put all of the talk to rest. He's proven he's a leader just like his brother, Tom Brady and any other top quarterback in the NFL. You don't win two Super Bowl's without a consistent and reliable leader in the huddle. It wasn't all Eli though, his receivers made huge plays, including the most memorable catch in the final minutes by Mario Manningham. The defense kept consistent pressure on Brady, forcing him to get rid of the ball much quicker than he's accustomed to. All in all, it was a hard fought battle by both teams and the Giants came out on top, again. The Patriots come up short for the second time in four years against the Giants, making this loss even tougher. It's a long off season for football, so soak it in GMen. Congratulations to the Super Bowl XLVI Champions!
